BIO

ABout me

Hello, my name is Cris Black. I work in Little Rock, Arkansas as a Financial Technology Engineer. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with my BS in Computer Science. I worked for FIS ( Fidelity National Information Services) for nearly 10 years as a Mainframe COBOL and .Net/SQL Software Engineer working on the Systematics Loans business line. I love what I do and I became a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) in 2019. I teach at the Hour of Code to students when I can. I also enjoy competing in hackathons, preferably one’s where I can mentor junior developers and learn new tech at the same time while developing a new, cool product! Most recently, I worked for Smiley Technologies. Currently, I am a System Analyst in Digital Banking.
